| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On january 7, 2004 consumer received nhtsa recall 03v309000 concerning transmission failure on motorcycles. the second/third pinion gears might be incorrectly machined which could cause abnormal wear that eventually would result in a broken retainer circlip. dealer indicated he didn't have the kit yet to fix the motorcycle. dealer was very cooperative. manufacturer didn't care about the recall.*ak |
