| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The automatic park system went out on my general motors p30 motorhome chassis on a camping trip - leaving me with no "park" in my automatic transmission and no emergency brake. it was very dangerous, as i had no way to keep the motorhome from moving at anytime i tried to stop and park, such as stopping at a restaruant, stopping to sightsee, or stopping to camp. in over forty years of driving automatic transmission vehicles, this is the first case where, even though i put the transmission lever in the "park" position, my vehicle start rolling as soon as i took my foot off the brake petal (and, yes, i had depressed my emergency brake petal to the floor as well.*ak |
