Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I have a 1998 chevrolet s10 pick-up that the windshield wiper motor periodically stops. this can occur at any time when the wipers are on. i know there was a recall by chevrolet on other models related to this failure. the wiper motor components used in the s-10 series resemble the same as what was used in other models that were under the recall notification. could these be related? how can i find out if other owners are experiencing the same problems? the last date of the failure was 3/1/04. this sudden stoppage of the wiper motor could potentially cause accidents by obscuring the vision of the driver. *ak
