| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I bought a new 2004 touareg in dallas. two to three weeks into driving it, the navigation system/radio/cd went completely "dark" and stopped working. it's now stuck on one radio station. nothing else works and the screen is 100% black. the dealership told me that they a) have no replacement unit b) there is not a unit in the usa c) they can't ship one from germany d) they won't disable a car on the lot and swap units and e) that i have to return my loan car and drive my touareg until a part comes in (which may be never according to them). i asked for either a new car or all of my money back. they refused that as well. at this point i have kept their loan car and my lawyer served papers on the gm of the dealership this morning. i really hope that either volkswagenor the dealership does the right thing.*ak |
