Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Certain model year 2001-2002 frontier and xterra models may experience unexpected or difficult operation of windows. primary cause is extended high temperature conditions affecting window. nissan will replace window regulator for a period of up to 5 years or vehicle in-service date or 60,000 miles which ever occurs first. my complaint is that my nissan was manufactured on nov. 2000 and i bought the vehicle in july of 2002. it has 69,000 miles on it and since i've purchased this vehicle have noticed that windows move up and down very slowly and sometimes will only roll up half way and then i have to apply a little pressure upward to get them to roll all the way up. i do not live in a all year round high temperature, i don't know where my vehicle came from originally but i feel this is a defect in workmanship and also a safety hazard in not be able to roll windows up and down with ease.*jb |
