| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tailgate cable broke on passenger side of my 2001 chevy silverado. that caused the tailgate to drag on the road for about 30 feet. i replaced the cable but can't find the receipt now that i seen that nhtsa is looking into this. i'm writing today to document the damage, gouged paint and metal on right side of tailgate plus the cable i bought. *jb |
