| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Oil sludge in my 2000 corolla at 60,135 miles on it. i have had regular oil changes with receipts to prove it. i took the vehicle to dealership the day after the oil pressure and check engine light came on at the same time. the dealership advised that nothing they can do but replace my engine but said it would not be covered under my warranty with almost 40,000 miles left on it. they also said there was nothing they can do for me to cover it since i didn't have my oil changed at their dealership and wanted to charge me $8,000 for a new engine. i had to have my engine replaced elsewhere for $2,500. there are many complaints on this problem and toyota is refusing responsibility!*ak |
