( over a quart per 1,000 miles) have heard of several of the same incidents with others driving isuzu products having the same outcome as i. a complete motor overhaul with 64,000 miles on this trooper. other instances with fewer miles. isuzu is aware of the problem, only manufactured this particular model for two years. isuzu was notified and then in return let my mechanic knew where to begin repairs and to what extent they would be. i live in a very rual community in maine and i know of at least three other instances with the same outcome. more importantly isuzu does not stand behind their vehicles even when they know there are problems. *jb |
