Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I have a 2001 chevy 2500hd 4wd crewcab pickup w/6.0 liter engine, with 54000 miles on it. i continue to have a problem with a sticky accelerator pedal. several times daily when leaving from a stop (parking or stop lights) i experience the need to apply extra effort on accelerator pedal before it releases. this causes the truck to surge forward or backwards when backing up. g m does have a service bulletin for this #02-06-04-054a. i feel this is a safety hazard and possibly a recall should be issued. i have a friend with the same truck who also experienced this problem and had it repaired under warranty. i would appreciate hearing from you at your earliest convenience. *jb
