Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2002 yamaha r6 with only 2,400miles, and the battery leaked acid all over other componets of the bike ruining the apperance of it. the factory warranty is over but i purchased a 3 year extended warranty. through trying to get a hold of the yamaha people they will only cover one small component and not replace all the pieces of it that are ruined. this problem has occured to hundreds of other people and they are blaming it on the customer instead it is really yamaha's fault or the battery manufacturer. i want something to be done and my bike to be completly fixed so this doesnt happen again. i did not spend $8,000 to have it's value ruined because of yamaha and they not do anything about it.*ak |
