Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2003 yamaha roadstar warrior. i recieved a recall notice dated jan 9 2004 regarding a retaining circlip in the transmission. the notice states that the motorcycle should not be ridden until the modification is performed. my dealership does not have the parts. yamaha customer support told me that the parts will not be available (at the earliest) until the end of april. this leaves me making payments on a motorcycle for at least 4 months and not being able to ride it because yamaha states that its not safe. yamaha told me that consumers will not be compensated. *ak |
