| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2001 yukon xl parking brakes inoperative. failed dealer inspection. he said they just wear out. interesting, my vehicle has 60000, and the disc brakes are still the original. i have rarely used the parking brake. maybe on a hill once or twice. this is a design problem or a module problem and gmc is not taking responsibility. i have an extended warranty and its not covered according to the dealer. the abs went out at 40000, and was covered by the warranty. i'm perplexed about gmc's lack of concern for its products and safety.*ak |
