| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving to work, engine suddenly slowed & then stalled - would not restart. after towing to a local service station - i was told it was the fuel pump. the vehicle is no longer covered under warranty so i had to pay to have it replaced. this is the third fuel pump that has been installed on my vehicle. in september of 2001 it happened for the first time - again breaking down in the middle of the road. i was told by the service station that this is a known problem with xterras? i don't want to be replacing my fuel pump every 2 years/20,000 miles - my truck currently has 94,000 miles on it. *ak |
