Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Combi tyro infant seat tends to flip over towards the rear of the car when even a slight amount of upward pressure is applied to the edge of the base furthest from the seat bight. this occurs regardless of whether the seat is restrained using lap belt, lap/shoulder belt, or latch system. given the extremely round, narrow contour of the seat's base, the child passenger safety technicians here have been unable to prevent the seat from flipping over in this way despite attempting installation in several different positions and in different vehicles. we feel that all infant seats of this model should be immediately recalled until the base is modified so that it will no longer flip.*ak
