| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I ask that my name not be used as it could cause me to lose my job. i am currently inspecting vehicles for a large auction company. the ones i inspect are often wrecked. on any given day, i encounter one or more vehicles with severe front end damage and in too many cases, the vehicle made contact with an object between the two front frame extensions and in almost all cases, the front air bags did not deploy. i've encountered dodge ram pick-ups with the engine driven into the firewall, damaging the dash area. they hit at the center of the bumper and the air bags did not deploy. it has been found in numerous other vehicles as well. *jb the bumper folds out at the ends and leaves the air bag switches untouched if the vehicle makes contact between the ends of the two front main frame members. *jb |
