Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 1. when the fuel gauge reads just below half, sometimes the gauge will suddenly jump to empty. note that i normally refill the tank (completely full) when the fuel gauge reads about one eighth of a tank remaining.*ak 2. when this failure occurs, the vehicle can only be driven a few miles before running out of fuel. this has happened four times, all in the last four months. 3. i took it to the dealership that i purchased it from and they said they could not duplicate the problem and therefore they would do nothing about it. i called the gm service complaint number and they stated they would do nothing to assist me in getting this problem fixed.
