Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 1993 cadillac devillei own a 1993 cadillac deville. i know that this vehicle is more than 10 year old, but i still believe a glairing and significant safety issue exists with this model and that issue is: *ak when there is 3 gallons or less of gasoline in the fuel tank, as indicated by the digital fuel meter, any long sweeping turn (especially to the right) will cause the motor to unexpectedly stop due to fuel starvation. when the motor stops, the power steering also stops functioning and the result can be loss of control by the driver or an accident due to panic. now that i know it may occur any time the fuel is low, i look for it. i've experienced it many times but, it's still disconcerting when it occurs. |
