| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have taken my 2002 aztek to the dealer repair shop 6 times with complaints that the rear liftgate/hatch release mechanism does not always work with the remote and interior release buttons, and that it is especially worse in colder weather. repeated attempts to open it have to be made. the first 3 complaints resulted in 3 separately-dated repairs during the first warranty year, but the problem continues. a dealer service agent informed me on april 27, 2004 that a service bulletin by pontiac is out but he did not know the details yet and neither do i. i will follow-up with that information without any assurance.*ak |
