Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: My wife and i own a 1999 plymouth voyager minivan. we have had several failures that cause us concern about the manufacturer's quality control during production of this vehicle. most recently, the airbag warning light began to come on for no apparent reason while we were driving normally. most of the time, it would go back off, but sometimes it would stay on until the vehicle ignition was turned off. on april 27, 2004, we had to have the "clockspring" replaced on this vehicle to correct this problem. the cost of this repair was $180.96. the person in the service department in the chrysler dealership that performed the repair told me that this part has failed on many of these type minivans. given the large number of failures of this part, it is my opinion that it should have been replaced under an extended warranty by the manufacturer.
