| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This is a question about placing child safety seats in the front seat of a king cab pick up truck. turning the passenger air bag off, is it legal to transport the child in the front seat in the state of new york? i have spoken to a lot of cops and they all have different answers. one officer told me it was legal to have the ability to turn off the air bag but illegal to drive with it off and also told me it was legal to place child seat in front seat of truck but it is illegal to transport child in the seat in that position. any chance i can get some definite legal answers? thanks for any help you can give me . *ak |
