Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a jeep grand cherokee limited w/ 36,000 miles brakes pulsate at 40 mph and almost out of controll @ 55 mph and over when applying brakes. almost side swiped a bus with my child in car to keep it on the road. have returned to dealer ( john irish auto plaza san rafael ca) jim graves has been very understanding. its not the dealer i am upset it is with chrysler/ daimler!!! they have a serious problem , are they waiting for someone to die!!! they replace with the same defective rotors they should provide another brake rotor system to see if it takes care of the problem. i hear stillen has something that may work. history: 8181 miles brakes shimmy; excessive run out, 9377 miles replace front rotors, 15832 miles front & rear have excessive run out resurfaced f & r rotors,21293 miles shimmy excessive run out; replaced front clippers & rotors, 26,133 miles f & r rotors have run out, 28921 miles vibration f & r rotors have excesive run out; resurfaces f & r rotors. 29450 need rear brakes, 29492 miles replaced rear brakes and rotors. 33101 miles shimmy vibration f & r rotors have excessive run out. resurfaced f & r rotors. 36202 miles vibrations again taking back to dealer. manager agreed this is really bad! *ak |
