| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I bought a 2000 toyota corolla ve in sept. 2001 with 28,000 miles on it. the car has been serviced regularly, . the engine has been consuming excessive oil. my friend has 1999 toyota corolla. her car had the same problem. about one year ago, she went to a toyota dealer. the dealer told her that some toyota corolla cars around 1998-2001 have the gasket problem inside engine. after she told me, i got my car checked and the document said that oil leaks at head gasket on the back side of engine. i dealt with toyota company and they denied. i have seen some complaints about this issue at your website. i file this complain and hope that a recall can be ordered. *jb |
