| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I brought my vehicle into the dealership for a tune up and 120000 maintainance. everything on the vehicle was working perfectly. i had made the appointment 2 weeks in advance and kept to the schedule. the dealership called me to say that it was done four days later and that the starter was not working. they admitted that it had been working perfectly and had just "stopped" working while they were moving it around and running it through the wash. i explained that everything had been working perfectly when i brought it in and they agreed to replace the starter with a rebuilt for no charge. they did so and i picked up the car. immediately upon leaving the dealership i called them and told them that the motor was not running right. they asked that i continue to drive it for a couple of days because the "computer would fix the problem". i continued to do so and the next day it was hot so i tried the air condiioner and it made grinding noises. i called them again and brought it in again and they said that it must have just gone out, at the same time as the starter while it was in their possession. they said that it would cost me $1100.00 to replace the compressor, which i state once again was working perfectly when i brought it in. they did something to ruin my air conditioner and now expect me to pay for it!!! please help sharron . *ak |
