| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Graco "century" car seat model number: 44709svr serial number: 2002 01 12 we purchased this car seat for our daughter when she reached the appropriate weight. recently, when cleaning the seat and removing the cover, i noticed that the straps are cut at the point that they are threaded down into the base. i don't expect the product to last forever, but i do expect it to last through normal use with at least one child. our child had not outgrown the seat yet and was still using it. again, this is the long piece of "seat belt" material that is threaded through the chest strap and the two male buckle pieces. it threads through the bottom of the seat in one continuous piece. it was cut by the seat itself with no more than normal use. in my opinion, this is a defective design. *la |
