Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 1999 honda passport - fuel gauge continually reads empty when gauge reaches about 1/2 tank. have driven for over 200 miles on empty with gas light on as i calculate mileage instead of relying on the gauge. seems to be numerous reports on this issue - would like to see investigation and/or recall. very frustrating as i like the car. this is becoming the norm versus the exception. at first the fuel light would never come on when the tank was nearing empty. now it stays on pretty much all of the time. when i stop for gas, i have yet to put more than 10 gallons in; thus, i've only used one-half tank! *ak
