Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2002 yamaha yzf r6 bought new 8-25-02.battery leaked acid onto rear shock,swingarm,shift lever,rear set,chain guardd,chain,sprocket.date of leak was 6-7-04.battery acid stained all parts.caused chain to rust,also caused it too kink.yamaha denies warranty for parts,says battery,chain and sprockets are normal wear items.even though its not normal for a battery too leak acid.will not cover swingarm and shock because its cosmetic damage and does not hurt performance of parts.it just looks bad.so i will have too pay for repairs.*ak |
