| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2000 chevrolet cavalier ignition switch recall.*mr the consumer a recall letter in the mail regarding the ignition switch, prior to receiving the letter the consumer was already having problems cranking the vehicle. the same week the vehicle was due to have the recall performed, smoke began emitting from the steering column. the vehicle was taken to the dealer to have the recall fixed, however nine days later smoke emitted from the steering column again. the consumer continued to get the run around as to whether or not problem was recall related. *jb |
