| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer was in his garage when he smelled gas. he took the vehicle to the dealer, where he was told that this vehicle' make/model and year was on recall. however, this vehicle was not included due to the vin. the manufacturer was contacted and he told the consumer that the 1996-1997 vehicles were recalled and they would pay. after manufacturer found out that this vehicle had 100,000 miles they changed their minds. the vehicle was repaired at consumer's expense.*ak |
