Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In april, i took my van in to be repaired because of a water pump giving out which cost me over 300 to fix this problem shortly after this i noticed under my van oil was leaking so i took it in to get an estimate of the repair to find out as they opened up the hood the strut tower on both sides were totally rusted and the one guy told me to get rid of the van now! he said if this dropped, down the road from it rusting through, it would cause the van to roll and cause serious injury or even death to whoever was in the van. i took it to the chrysler dealer and the two mechanics just stood and looked at me as if i were the crazy one. i ended up walking out of there without even an estimate or any word on what can be done to fix this problem. it has cost me over 2100 to fix the leaking oil and the rusting strut towers and im finding that plymouth is not safe a reliable vehicle to own. this van has done nothing but cause me to go so deep in dept with the bank by making loans out to fix these costly repairs im afraid to drive it anymore and with kids im more afraid because what if that repairman had not have noticed the strut tower rusting we could have all been killed due to plymouth not being safe in making their vehicles!! *la |
