Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Re: 1999 sebring lxi issue: interior rear view mirror on stated date a type of unknown liquid was dripping from the base or seam of the mirror and dripped onto my consul. (no apparent cause for this) causing the mirrors interior to haze making it difficult to see into. some bubbling was seen behind the glass, but has stopped and only haze remains. i contacted daimlerchrysler, dealer in torrance,ca and daimlerchrysler via internet site/email and informed them both of this problem. a senior staff rep at daimlerchrysler, could not provide a msds info to me. this haziness on my mirror is a hazard for driving, and the liquid that dripped could be a potential environmental hazard as well. my children are in my car daily. the senior staff rep stated "your concerns are understandable. unfortunately there is nothing further that can be done to more fully address these issues.".. i did ask the senior staff rep to replace the mirror assembly. i feel this is a manufacturer flaw and i should not pay for it. *la |
