Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Ignition switch recall 04036000 repairs were not performed on correct vehicle because the incorrect vehicle year was printed on the recall notification. dealership installed the recall part on the wrong vehicle. then, dealership removed the recalled part when it realized that vin didn't match the vin number printed on the recall letter. currently, the manufacturer's system was showing that recall repairs were completed although it was done on the wrong vehicle. *ak
