| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While parked in the driveway consumer noticed that the right front tire was flat. the tire was taken to a tire dealership, who indicated that the tire needed to be replaced because it had worn out on one side, and had a big grove in it. the tire was replaced with a different model tire with the same grade. a week later, the same problem occurred on the rear of driver's side tire, and the other two tires had started wearing the same way. the other tires were taken to a tire retail store, technician indicated that the manufacturer put the wrong size tires on the van, and that they were aware of it . these tires were not adequate for the weight of the van. also, dealer indicated that this was a common problem, and manufacturer was replacing these 92s tires with 94sa. *ak *nm |
