| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Replacement front wheel bearings manufactured by bca federal mogul develop large pits or holes in bearing race... appear to be slag pockets or areas of weaker base material... have had two failures 1 after 2 to 3 weeks service and now second failure after around 75 days of service. bearing developes loud "hammre-drill" noise as ball bearings roll over the pitted area. vendor ( o'rielies auto parts) has replaced parts but should expect better service life than this. also, requires wheel alignment after installation which vendor does not reimburse . *la |
