| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Problems with abs system on 1999 chevrolet k1500.*mr before the consumer turned off the engine the abs light illuminated on the dash. when the ignition was off the consumer heard a grinding noise which originated under the vehicle. the consumer crawled under the vehicle and unplugged the abs and the noise stopped. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was determined that the ebcm shorted out. the consumer was told that this is a common problem with this model chevrolet. *nm |
