Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a new 2003 chrysler town and country van may 23, 2003. today is august 3, 2004. i have 26,000 miles on this van and have just had to replace the front brakes and had to have the drums ground. the brakes have skweaked since the it was new and i reported this to the dealership at least 2 other times before this time. i was told that was "normal" on a new van. i think the wear of these brakes is excessive for this milage and believe it to be poor engineering or a substandard assembly i have been told that the back brakes are also wearing and will need to be replaced with the next service. i have owned many many new vehicles and i have never experienced this. this is undoubtedly a deffect under the which the warranty should be effective.*ak |
