Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I was driving to work, and transmission skipped, making noises, so drove home, and checked with repair man, indicated was transmission., called dealer, they said was out of warranty (3yrs, 36k miles), and i had 43000. they wanted me to bring it in, and my experience is you bring it there, and it cost twice as much., so i took it elsewhere, and then i saw a internet site that said they extended the warranty on the 2002's to 70k, and i had already had the work done by then by someone out of chrysler., they still said it would not have been covered., but that isnt how the website read with their article., i'm still looking for relief of $2000.00 for the transmission.*ak
