| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Volvo 1999 v70 electronic throttle control failure. intermittently really rough idle, no power, totally unreliable transportation. this is bringing the engine management light on and eventually putting car in limp home mode. if this car ever failed in heavy, high-speed traffic, there would be a major catastrophe with possible loss of life. there are numerous instances of this failure recorded in internet chat rooms. volvo is apparently aware of this problem, but does nothing to solve it.*ak |
