Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: (1)brake pedal goes to floor slowly (bleeding back through master cylinder system) and pulsation from front brakes at 5 mph: brakes release and can not stop. (2)can not stop in emergency situation or in foul weather.*ak (3)replaced master cylinder and disconnect ebcm (electronic brake control modual power lead. note: upon doing research from nhtsa website found various complaints from consumers with similar problems. i was disappointed that dealors concluded removing the fuse. in my case, if you remove the 60 ampere fuse the power windows and hvac system become inoperative! i own a 1999 chevrolet k2500 pickup with 56,500 miles. additionally, i have two co-workers who purchased 2001 k1500's that have similar abs problems. luckily, they are under warranty. |
