| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Alpha omega elite--seat will not lock into recline position--required (according to manufacturer's instructions) for rear-facing installation. if i recline the seat, the handle appears to lock in place, even when looking under the seat...i.e. the bar is completely in the slots; however, if i barely put weight on the front of the seat, the seat falls forward, snapping into the original position. if my child is supposed to be at a 45 degree angle when rear-facing, how is it that this seat is safe if slight pressure causes the seat to fall forward? when i called the manufacturer, the representative told me that no one else had complained about this problem...but now, after reading others' comments, i learn that is untrue. *ak |
