Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: On 7/27/04 vehicle suddenly stalled while sitting in traffic on interstate 4. after several minutes vehicle restarted. drove to dealer for servicing on 7/28 . dealer ran scan test and found multiple lost of communication failures at multiple modules. upon diagnostics found bussed electrical center connectors not torqued to specs. tightened all connectors at bec and road tested. vehicle returned ok on 7/29/04. on 8/5/04 vehicle suddenly stalled while traveling 60 miles per hour on interstate 4 in heavy traffic endangering driver and passenger. after several minutes vehicle restarted and vehicle was returned to dealer on 8/6 /2004. dealer stated diagnostics found multiple failure codes setting. per gm tech assistance center was advised to replace ignition switch and road test. replaced ignition switch and road tested vehicle. vehicle returned ok on 8/10/04. upon picking the vehicle up on 8/10/04 from the dealer. the vehicle was driven several miles on route 50 and suddenly stalled while traveling 45 miles per hour endangering the driver. after sitting several minutes the vehicle restarted and was immediately returned to the dealer. the vehicle again stalled upon arriving at the dealer . dealer currently has the vehicle . the vehicle must be repaired to prevent further stalling since driver and any passengers are in danger along with any other vehicles in close proximity. the dealer and buick have been made aware that the stalling creates a hazardous condition for the driver and the public. due to the repetition of such stalling that has occurred any future hazards created by this malfunction are foreseeable by the dealer and buick. as such, we can only accept the vehicle back upon the dealer's and buick's assurance that it safe to drive at the posted speed limits on the public highways. if such assurance is not possible , then as a matter of public policy the vehicle should be replaced or our money refunded. *jb
