| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My automobile is a 2000 toyota corolla. i was driving on an ordinary road at perhaps 35 - 40 miles per hour when there was a sudden loud bang and my driver's side window exploded into hundreds of pieces scattering glass onto my lap and into the interior of the car. i did not hit a bump and did not see any other vehicles that could have thrown a stone against the window. i drove a short distance back to my home and called the police because i thought that i might have been hit by a bullet. the investigating officer stated that this occurs occasionally as a spontaneous event. i am not sure that is the explanation and wonder if your organization has any similar cases on file ? the window involved was my left side - i couldn't seem to correct the comment that it was the right side. *jb |
