Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: On three different occasions since february, an ignition coil has failed in my ls(# 2,3,and 6). each time the repair has cost almost $300, and in addition since the dealer thought a small leak in the valve cover gasket may have caused the problem with #3, that was replaced for an additional $225. in the 45 years i have been driving, i have never had a coil go bad. there is clearly a defect in the original coils or engine design. the dealer has indicated that they have replaced many of these on ls's. *ak
