Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We have a 2004 jayco granite ridge class-c motor home. on our first trip when the temperature got below 40 degrees, i personally could not open the entry door. my husband nearly broke his knuckles forcing the door open. i feel this is a safety matter, since the only other exit is the back window which is an extreme exit. on one occasion our carbon monoxide detector went off because we were using the generator & furnace for heat and fumes were getting into the cab near the detector. we shut the generator off and opened windows but it was extremely difficult to get the entry door open. it appears that cold weather affects the material the door is made from.??? our dealer is attempting to resolve this problem, however i feel this is a factory structural problem. *jb |
