| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was driving my motor home about 40 miles from home. i stopped and put it in park and the auto park brake came on. i got ready to move and the park brake would not release. i could not go forward or backwards. i had to be tow to a garage. after four hours it was determined that a hydraulic pump had failed. had to wait 4 days for new one. after i got home i looked at my motor home papers. i found out this pump was replaced at 1900 mile. the first owner had problems with the electric brake. the motor home only has 10,000 miles on it. i have heard that the park brake can come on while driving down the road. i am afraid to drive my motor home to far. the pump is only on chevrolet p30 chassis. *jb |
