Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: In four different cases on my 2003 gmc envoy the rear door latch mechanisms failed to work. in at least one case the left rear door failed to open from either the inside or the outside. the left rear door has stuck but never failed to open, although it is a fight to do so. the last time i returned the car they replaced the entire latch assembly on the right side, with the dealer telling me they have never had complaints. i found this to be untrue as conversations with many owners of the gmc envoy and chev. trailblazer have seen the same thing. my biggest concern is that in the case of an emergency if the rear doors don't work how do we get our children out of the car. *ak
