| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Approx. 2 years ago the local chp placed a century/graco convertible car seat with a woman named ashley bartow in redding, ca. she brought the seat back to the chp to have it checked and all of the labels were curled under, flaked off, and the model # and mfg. date was unreadable. we were forced to replace the seat with a cosco model. it was agreed by two technicians that the labels should not have disintegrated in the car like that and two years isn't nearly long enough for the labels to be so destroyed, when the seat was left in the car and not put into water or scrubbed. century/graco needs to consider changing the materials they use to make their labels so that the labels last longer on their seats. thank you.*ak |
