Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Air bag light is on on dashboard. chevrolet had installed the airbag sensor on the floor under the drivers seat in a work vehicle chevy 3500 express. any moisture causes the sensor to corrode requiring replacement. i have communicated with numerous other owners who have had to pay chevy $1,000 to move the sensor under the dash. why would you place a sensitive part on the floor in a vehicle where moisture can easily intrude. this is dangerous and could cause air bag malfunctions. *ak
