Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This is a complaint on the nissan company manufactures and dealerships. they have manufactured cars (maxima 2000) which have faulty iginition coils (6). they are very much aware of this issue, and have done nothing about making this a recall. there are thousands of people calling about this issue and being told "you're out of luck". the price for the correction and replacement of the ignition coils starts at $800. and there is no way to single out which coil is in need of replacement, and if you are lucky and can single it out, 2 months later another one will go out. so in the end you find it cheaper to get all 6 removed. this is a burden on maxima 2000 owners all over the country. there are petitions all over and online asking to start a recall.*ak
