| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: During a 1000 mile roundtrip from michigan to tennesse, 4 of the 5 (including the spare) carlisle tires (175, 80 r13) on our 2002 hi-lo blew out. the last blow out was the original spare wich had less than 600 miles on it. all the tires were properly inflated prior to the start of the trip. the trailer was overloaded nor were we speeding. the first blow out took out the septic system of the trailer sending plastic parts all across the highway. all the tires seemed to fail in the same way, the sidewall appeared to give way and the tread separated. *ak |
