Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Appears that the drl system mandated by dot can not be deactivated. all military installations madate that a vehicle's headlights be turned off when oing through the security check points. currently on a 2004 toyota corolla. this is impossible. can not find a dealer who will modify the system due to dot regulations. dot, dod, and homeland security need to invoke a mandatory requirement that all vehicle manufacturer's provide an override switch. number of complaints are growing and i am more than sure that citations will be issued. getting frustrated trying to explain that the headlights can not be turned off.*ak
